Visiting Masjid for Women


It is related by Sayyidah Ayshah (R.A.) said: "Were the messenger of Allah (SAW) to see the things women have now acquired
(in their conduct and deportment), he would have forbidden them from going to the mosque in the same way as the women of Bani Israel had been forbidden (to
go to their places of worship) during the days of the earlier Prophets." (Bukhari and Muslim)

Dua after Azan

It is related by Sa'd bin Abu Waqqad (R.A.) that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Whoever, on hearing the Azan (i.e., when the Azan comes to an and) says: Ash-hadu al laa ilaaha illAllaah wahdahu laa sharika lahu wa ash-hadu an-na Muhammaadan abduhu wa rasooluhu; raditu bil-laahi rabba wabi Mahammadar rasoola wa bil-Islam-i-deena. (I affirm that there is no god but Allah, One and Unpartnered, and Muhammad is His slave and Messenger(SAW), and I am pleased with Allah as lord, and in Muhammad as Messenger, and in Islam as the religion), his sins will be forgiven." Forgiveness of sins for the one who performs salah

Abu Zarr (R.A.) narrated "Once during the cold weather the Messenger of Allah (SAW) went out and the leaves of the trees were falling (as it was the autumn). The Prophet (SAW) caught hold of two branches of a tree (and shook them) and its leaves began to fall suddenly. Addressing me, he said, 'Abu Zarr (R.A.).' 'I am here, O Messenger of Allah'. I replied. 'When a person offers prayer solely for the sake of Allah', said the Prophet, 'his sins fall away like these leaves.'" (Musnad Ahmad)
